The Team from Z-Beanz had its active presence at the National Free Software conference at Kochi on 15th & 16th November.
Lepeesh Parat (C.E.O), an invited speaker for the program, delivered speeches on “Free Software business Models” and “Enterprise Resource Planning”.
A work shop on Open ERP was also conducted along with the participation of Staff and Students from SCMS Business School. The sessions were attended by Professionals, Institution heads, Political leaders, Students etc from various parts of the country.
The Conference was inaugurated by Sri. M.A. Baby(Hon’ble Minister for Education & Culture, Govt. of Kerala.) The valedictory session of the Conference, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Sri. V.S. Achuthanandan. The Conference was blessed with the presence of Dr. Thomas Issac(Hon’ble Minister for Finance, Govt. of Kerala), Dr. Debesh Das(Hon’ble Minister for IT, West Bengal), Sri. Elamaram Kareem(Industries Minister, Kerala), Dr. Gangan Prathap(Vice Chancellor, CUSAT) etc.
Different parallel sessions comprising of Seminars, Workshops, Open Forums, etc were organized. The Conference also became a meeting place to share the experiences and spread the Spirit of the Free Software community.
