User Manual : Transaction Approval Module

Overview

Introducing ZestyBeanz’s Transaction Approval module: a powerful Odoo addon designed to manage Approval functionality in Sales Order, Purchase Order, Accounting Entries, Payments.

Exploring Transaction Approval  Module

Installation

1. Get the module from Odoo App store
   https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/17.0/zb_transaction_approval/
2. Extract the file from your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- zb_transaction_approval
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search zb_transaction_approval.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

After Installing the module

Navigate to Settings and select a user.

Here added new user group section Approvers

• Account Entries Approver
• Payment Approver
• Purchase Approver
• Sale Approver

Working – Sale Orders

On creating a sale order, A button ‘Send For Approval’ is added here.

While clicking the button an Approval request mail is sent to ‘sale Approver’ group users.

Approve Button for approving the sale order.

• Approve Button only visible for Sale Approver Users.

After approving the sale order, We can confirm the sale order.

“Approved by”and “Approved On” fields available in the “Other Info” tab for tracking.

Working – Purchase Orders

On creating a Purchase order, A button ‘Send For Approval’ is added here.

While clicking the button an Approval request mail is sent to ‘Purchase Approver’ group users.

Approve Button for approving the Purchase order.

• Approve Button only visible for Purchase Approver Users.

After approving the Purchase order, We can confirm the purchase order.

• Approved by and Approved On fields available in the “Other Information” tab for tracking.

The same workflows are applied to the ‘Invoices’ and ‘Payments’ as well.
