Let’s Get Kitting!
Create Your Kit Products:

1. In the Inventory app, navigate to Products and click Create.

2. Select Consumable as the product type.

3. Set the product name and other details.

4. Under the Inventory tab, set the Route of Operations to Manufacture.

Define Your Kit Components:

Now, it’s time to list the individual products included in your kit.

1. Click the Bill of Material (BoM) button within the Kit product configuration or go to Manufacturing > Products > Bills of Materials and Create.

2. Select the Kit product in the Product field.
3. Choose Kit as the BoM Type.
4. Under the Components tab, add each component using the Add a Line button. Specify the quantity required per kit.

Sell Your Kit!
1. In the Sales app, go to Orders and Create.
2. Add your Kit product like any other product.
3. Process the order as usual. On confirmation of the order the Delivery order is created with the Kit components.

After delivering the kit, Odoo will automatically adjust the inventory levels of the individual components.
