SMS Client module is concerned with sending SMSs very easily, individually or collectively. For that we must subscribe to an operator with a web interface (Type OVH) or via a URL generation.
Our SMS Client module supports multi language SMSs. OTP generation is another functionality provided. Different scopes of this module include sending of SMSs regarding the sales and promotions of products to customers like advertisements, offer details etc. Customers can also be notified about their account transactions. All these helps to keep our customers updated and aware of facilities provided to them.

SMSs can be send as a bulk or as single SMSs. Two different wizards, ‘Send Mass SMS’ and ‘Send an SMS’ does the work from the customer menu.
Go to: More (in Customers) > Send Mass SMS
The ‘Send Mass SMS‘ option opens this wizard. The SMS gateway name can be selected from the ‘SMS Gateway’ field. The message to be sent is written in the text box seen below the label ‘Message’. ‘Additional Option’ contains the additional gateway options.
2. Send an SMS
Go to: More (in Customers) > Send an SMS
The screenshot shown above is of the ‘Send an SMS’ wizard. Similar to the previous one, SMS gateway name can be selected from ‘SMS Gateway’ field. The mobile number to which the message is to be send is entered in the ‘To’ field. The ‘Message’ label contains the textbox for entering the messages to be sent and additional gateway options can be seen under ‘Additional Option’ label.
In short SMSClient is a module that helps to keep our customers updated with the different facilities we provide. So, all these will add up to the sales and promotions of different products that we offer.
