EducationERP

EducationERP is a generic OpenERP solution developed to address the automation of all the activities in an Educational Institution. The basic package manages academic details along with the information of students and staffs in the institution. It also contains time table, examination and attendance management.There are some additional packages associated with the base package.

Depending upon the mode of operation, institutions can choose solutions from those additional packages.

Analysis and Reporting are the attractive features of the solution in academic perspective. The Library module has a provision to manage Main Library and Department Libraries separately. Automatic Calculation of the “late fee” while returning books, easy analysis of the possession history of books, etc are the key features of the module. The account module is associated with the student fee payment and calculations. Document management helps to store and manage certificates and other related documents of students. Human resource module manages teaching and non-teaching staffs, their holidays, leaves, payroll etc.. The purchase and Tender processes of an educational institution will be somewhat different from the industry standard. The customized solution specifically addresses the change in scenario.

Most of the implementations of EducationERP has always been done in association with the students and faculties of the Institution. The strategy is an attempt to full fill  Zesty’s knowledge sharing policy, being part of the Open Source community.
